Software Projects

Three applications that exist because the thing did not: a way to prove who can reach a file share, a map of places to practise DJing out loud, and a colour system that survives being handed to someone who does not have it installed.

Every screenshot below is the application itself, running, and every one opens — press it, or focus it and press Enter. The data on screen is synthetic in all three: a generated estate, invented venues, and a colour system written for the capture. What was running, on what, and where the demo data came from is recorded in the repository rather than here.

ADG

Windows-domain share-access auditing and governance. ADG collects identity, SMB share and NTFS permission facts and answers, with evidence, who can reach a given share, what a given user can reach, exactly why that access exists, and what would change if a membership or ACL entry were removed.

Open Decks Atlas

A public map of places to practise DJing out loud — open-deck nights, jams and bookable practice rooms — where every listing carries the equipment actually in the booth, the room’s skill vibe, how a set is signed up for, and when a human last checked. Anyone may submit a spot and nothing reaches the map unmoderated; what the public can read is settled by row-level security in the database rather than by the pages above it, so a listing that is not approved is not merely hidden from a view.

Spectra

A semantic color-system manager for After Effects. Build named color roles, link artwork to them, and change a whole project by changing one swatch — then hand the project to someone without Spectra installed and have it render identically. That last constraint shaped the design: the rig is ordinary After Effects objects, not a private format.
